AMERICAN-MADE KNIVES. GUARANTEED FOREVER.

Cutco is a company driven to create a great experience for both its customers and employees. I am more focused on backend issues working to protect the integrity of the data and make it accessible to the right users.

On the backend I support IBM i users in Olean, make data available for our websites, and build the foundations of a python based internal website. We work with a legacy system at the root of the corporation which has taught me perseverance, patience, and strong research skills.

I work primarily in RPG, SQL, Python, and some Java.

St. Bonaventure University

Workshop Presenter

Octobers 2013 - 2018

Girls' Day is an annual technology workshop for middle school girls to inspire them to pursue a career in STEM.

Every October, I have had the privilege to support this event at St. Bonaventure showing young girls what can be accomplished in the world of technology. I have played several roles in the event and learned the impact that sharing knowledge and experience can have on others.

Education

St. Bonaventure University

BS Computer Science and BA in Spanish

December 2018 and May 2017

While at St. Bonaventure I spent time exploring subjects from Spanish to accounting to computer science. I learned time management and perseverence. My favorite CS courses were Database Management and Software Engineering. Our primary language was Java.

Outside of the classroom I spent my time playing field hockey on our club team, eventually becoming captain. I also enjoyed being a host on The Buzz, our radio station.

And yes those are two Bachelor’s degrees, yes it’s a little different, I’d be happy to talk about it with you!

A Little More About Me

Outside of the digital world, I may be found reading or kayaking, sometimes at the same time!
